The Templates

There are two template files: one to create a print and one to create a digital file.

These are Adobe Photoshop files, so you must have a licensed copy of Adobe Photoshop to use them. You should also be comfortable working with Photoshop's transform tool and layers.

Passport Photo Print Template

This template is a Photoshop file that lays out two 2” x 2” passport photos on one 4” x 6” print. The file is layered, so you can use the guides to align your image and then turn off the guides before you print.

A sample image is included so you know where to place your own image.

If your passport has a gold symbol (rectangle with a dot in the middle) on the front cover it means you have a biometric passport. Such e-passports have a chip that contains a digital photograph of the holder.

Passport Photo Digital Template

This template is a Photoshop file designed to create a single 2” x 2” (600px x 600px) digital file. Unlike the print template, there are no cropping guides in this file.

There is a guide layer that you use to align and size your image. This layer is turned off prior to exporting the digital file.

If you get a face tattoo or have face surgery, you will need to get a new passport.
